Dog Services
Dog Walking
After an initial free consultation to meet with you and your pet, walks can be arranged from 30 minutes to 1 hour depending upon your requirements. A spare keys will normally be collected at the introductory meeting. All keys are kept securely and labelled according to the name of your pet - no address details are kept with keys.
Your dog can be fed if required, water replenished and we can administer medication.
Your
dog can be walked on a 'one-to-one' basis or in a group, whatever your
preference, and will only be taken off the lead with your permission.
- Group or 'One to One' Dog Walking in the beautiful Cheshire countryside
- Up to four dogs from the same home can be walked together
Paws are wiped and cleaned, and during adverse weather conditions your dog is towel dried.
Any accidents will be cleaned up.
After each walk a dog diary is completed.
We can take your dog for a walk at a day and time to suit; whether that be during the day, evening, weekday or weekend.

Dog Home Boarding
Walking Whiskers offers an alternative to conventional kennels, by providing a home from home service for your
dog, where they can enjoy all the comforts of family life.
Our dog home boarding service is fully insured and licensed by Halton Borough
Council, and we will care for your dog with all the love and attention
needed in your absence. We aim to ensure your dog has a relaxed, stress
free stay and for you to know they are happy while you are away.
We only board dogs from the same household (maximum of 2) at any one
time
and they will have our own dogs for company, Molly a black labrador and
Barney a golden retriever. As part of the familiarisation session we
promote an initial "sleepover" to ensure your dog's stay will be a
happy one. All costs include a collection and delivery service and your
dog is transported safely and securely.
All we ask is that clients understand that at
all times we have to conform to the conditions and rules as laid down
by Halton Borough Council for home dog boarding and those are as
follows:
- All dogs must be vaccinated with up todate boosters
(the course of vaccinations must have been completed at least
four weeks before the first date of boarding and proof of
vaccinations kept at Walking Whiskers during the period of home
boarding).
- All dogs must be vaccinated against kennel cough
- All dogs must be flea and worm treated
- All dogs in our care will wear a Walking Whiskers ID tag with my contact details
- Unfortunately we cannot board un-neutered or unspayed bitches
- All dogs must be sociable around other dogs. We cannot accept any aggressive dogs.
- Please bring your dogs bed, bowls, toys and sufficient food for the duration of the stay to prevent any stomach upset.
