Animal Feeding / House Sitting

Walking Whiskers Pet Services offers a superb service as an alternative to boarding kennels or the cattery. While you are away from your home this service has the following advantages for your pet:

Your pet can remain in their own home within familiar surroundings
They can keep to their usual routines for feeding and exercising
No distressing journey to the cattery or kennels for pets that dislike travelling
Your pet won't have to experience the stress and upset many undergo when staying at a cattery or kennels
No exposure of catching an illness from other animals at the cattery or kennels

For dogs and cats that are not suitable to be left alone during the night we also provide an overnight pet sitting service. We will stay at your home with your pet covering the hours of 7 30 pm until 8 am, plus extra daily pet visits for feeding and walking where required.

If you have several pets we are much cheaper than the rates charged at kennels and catteries.

We can provide an evening pet sitting visit which may be suitable if you are working late or having a night out.

Cat Feeding and Cat Sitting Service.

If you are going on holiday or have other commitments, Walking Whiskers can visit your home to feed your cat .

Visits last for approximately 20 minutes but can be tailored to suit your requirements.

At the free consultation we will meet you and your cat (cats) and you can tell us anything we need to know regarding routines, likes/dislikes, diets and habits.The service will then include:-

Feeding your cat and providing fresh water
Providing your cat with play and attention. Our cat sitting service
Cleaning of litter trays, feeding areas, bowls etc
Accident cleaning

All we ask is that clients leave sufficient food and cat litter. We ensure that all cat related rubbished is removed at every visit.

Animal Feeding Service

All small animals catered for including rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, mice, fish etc...

At Walking Whiskers we have experience in looking after more unusual pets such as tortoises, snakes, bearded dragons, hedgehogs, chickens, ducks, doves etc........ so what ever pets you have please do not hesitate to contact us.........

Many of our regular clients provide a spare set of keys. So whenever you need to use our services especially at short notice, you will only need to make one telephone call to book our services.

House Sitting

As well as taking care of the needs of your pet, we appreciate that the security of your home is of utmost importance and we provide a house sitting service to include:-

Home security checks
Post tidied
Opening / closing of curtains / blinds
Watering of plants
Rubbish removal

Please note: there are no employees other than members of our family. This is to ensure that your security is not compromised

If you experience a delay in returning from your holiday, don't worry.... we will continue to look after your pets and home until you return.
